Had a letter randomly saying they shutting my account down and no longer want my custom. Hardly surprising really as i hardly use the card ( prob 5 times a year). I have the american express basic card because living in the southwest of england and most of there benefits i.e offers consist of businesses that operate miles from where i live. Not the company i was used to in the past and now it seems they just base their company on those with deep pockets and willing to use their card constantly. If you only use it a few times a year like me then eventually you are out of the game.
