Three months since my last review is how long it took American Express to destroy the image I had and my beliefs in it's values and commitment in supporting small businesses, truly with a very heavy heart full of disappointment I write this and the same feeling of betrayal others felt and wrote about seems very clear and heartfelt.The only difference between my story and the other 3500 - 14%, is that I had so much faith in American Express, and I couldn't wait to become a member of the family beliving in it's values, it's brand, only to find out that the family treats you with distrust just because you are a new member regardless of your on time payments or credit as if you joined your way in through the back window, you still have to do more and make more payments even if you just made one or two to show the system that you can do it to increase your limit while infact reducing your limits and the concept of charge cards is a misleading system keeps you blind and allow them to tell you anything that can't be validated creating such a high pressure envirorment makes you wonder Am I better off with the card or without it, is it going to work or there would be a hold on the account just because your payment is proccessing and they don't know if it's going to clear or not and that is applied to all accounts the same business or not, I asked why is that I was told because it's the same ownership as if I'm a common criminal who can't wait to put his hands on few dollars and if they did a little homework on the company they would have known that that the company has 60 Drivers and 30 Heavy Duty Trucks and that's only one of the companies yet treated like you have so much to proof in a true upside down world, I really lost sleep over that , such a true disappointment for a partnership I believed in with all my heart, treating people as risk factors in such dragatory manner applying better safe than sorry distrustful strategy even though it's clearly destroying the brand creating a third chance credit enviroment adopted by the only brand that shouldn't, the question is is there anyone actually listening?.
