I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel like Amex deserve one. I’d give a zero rating if I could. Long story short, I signed up to Amex, they game me a £1200 credit limit. I used £350 of that over a few months. They then blocked my card, closed my account, and passed my debt to a solicitors firm without notice. I’d made regular payments each month, no problems there.This solicitors firm are just as bad. I couldn’t use my phone for a couple weeks as the speaker was damaged, I emailed this firm for 2 weeks and just received automated responses. I then get a letter through the post threatening me with court action. Scum of the earth these people, so I just paid them the £300 all in one to stop this threatening behaviour.Do not use AMEX whatever you do. There’s plenty of decent credit card companies out there, just avoid AMEX. Scum.
