I've been a loyal Amex Platinum cardholder, paying £650 annually for the privilege, yet my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. Despite me maintaining my account impeccably and my credit score increasing substantially, Amex decided to reduce my credit limit not once, but twice. The latest cut brought my limit down to £3,000, which is laughable for a premium chargecard. This decision, communicated through email, felt like a slap in the face. It's bewildering to pay so much for a service only to be devalued in this manner. I had hoped for an increase after diligently managing my finances, but instead, I received further restrictions. This is the final straw for me. I plan to leave Amex as soon as I settle my current balance. It's disheartening to think that Amex treats its Platinum customers this way. I doubt I'll be the only one departing, as it seems even basic bank account holders receive more appreciation than what I've had from Amex/
