For the third time in two months, waiting for an Amazon delivery to receive a message that the item has been delivered - no it hasn't!! On this occasion it says it was left in the letterbox. My building has a communal letter box which can be accessed by any resident but we each have our own letterboxes as well. The items expected were two books which may not, in any event, have fitted through either letterbox. Needless to say there is no sign of the items and no photo proof of delivery. Amazon will now make me wait four days before I can actually claim a refund because they say 'sometimes the delivery notes are updated early' WHAT? They take your money straight away then take several days to despatch items which you then don't get. I'll be using Waterstones for books from now on!
