Rejected multiple video evidence and third-party evidence of a defective product

I’ve had a few successful transactions. But by the fourth I learned why the ratings are so poor for AliExpress: it’s when there is a problem with a marketplace vendor that it all falls apart.I bought a simple emergency light from a light store with an EU plug. The plug could not fully sit in a standard Schuko shielded outlet, failing to make electrical contact with the power. Its prongs were too short. If I forced it in place by pushing, I could make contact but it made a sound like an unsafe electrical short. I video recorded all this in my submitted return claim for a defective product. Both the vendor and AliExpress rejected my claim, as if it is my fault for EU outlet standards and would have to leave the country to use it. I sent more video and also found online sources of other customers in Europe who had the exact same problem with the serial number of the device. They still refused my claim.I could ship it back to China at my expense for a refund, but that’s most of the price of the item. So there is no point. Selling and shipping known defective products and making them the responsibility of the customer is why I give them this rating. Steer clear. I have learned my lesson and will never do business with AliExpress ever again.
