I recently searched a product on Alibaba, this is what happened. I found many vendors. I chose four, the first to answer asked that we communicate with whatsapp, at which point the price jumped 600%. I sent and received a few messages but as the vendor had already behaved fraudulently and was quite open about his behaviour, I chose not to trust him. I have had ten replies so far and no one will discuss prise or shipping on the platform, I get cut and paste demands for personal information including my phone number and email address. My only other experience was fraudulent also. I bought iPhones and iPods from a liquidation company, and received knock off garbage. Alibaba would not follow up, would not answer even one email, and the platform offered no useful information regarding reimbursement or fraud detection. Quality assurance seems to be a zero, I can not trust this marketplace. I do not recommend using Alibaba
