We booked a roykan for our trip in late December. Agoda messed up and downgraded our room and offered USD150 Agoda Cash for compensation. The difference of the 2 different room type was USD 280. Due to no fault of our, we got cheated by paying full rate for a lower grade room. This is equivalent to a scam. The ryokan told us that this was not the only case from Agoda. They had several.Don't ever use this platform to book your holiday. They will cheat you using various methods.
