I booked a hotel several months ago through Agoda. Today I received a message from them suggesting that the hotel had been informed that I wanted to cancel the booking. I phoned the hotel only to find out that the hotel was closed for repairs and Agoda had made the booking through Booking.com which I would never use because of previous issues. No more booking s with Agoda, you didn't have my permission to sub-contract my booking and it wasn't straight forward to cancel it.
