Never book a hotel through Agoda.com. I reserved a room via Agoda, but when I arrived at the hotel, they informed me that my reservation had been made by another agency. It turned out that Agoda had booked the room through a third-party travel agent. The original rate at the hotel was $46, including breakfast, but I ended up paying twice that amount without breakfast. It was a complete scam and rip-off! I strongly recommend checking room rates directly on hotel websites before booking through online platforms like Agoda.com and Booking.com (both owned by the same company).
