Extremely disappointed with my experience booking through Agoda. I reserved and paid for a hotel, only to arrive and be told by the receptionist that my booking wasn’t valid. The hotel said they do not have a contract with Agoda and never received any payment. I was left completely stranded in an unfamiliar place.I contacted Agoda support immediately, but they were completely unhelpful. After explaining the situation multiple times, there was still no resolution after 3 hours. No alternative accommodation was offered, no proper assistance—nothing. I had to find and book another hotel on my own, under pressure and at my own cost.They did issue a full refund eventually, but that doesn’t change the fact that I was left in a terrible situation with no support. Agoda should never have listed a hotel they weren’t properly partnered with. Very unprofessional and disappointing. I won’t be using their service again.
