Final update on the clearly incompetent and dodgy Adidas UK. The medium I used to pay for my item was Clearpay which in the past have had good service, until, the merchant you are paying through them rips you off! Summary of complaint: You have reached out to us regarding on your Adidas order. Following our investigation I can confirm the following: As I have discussed that merchants Adidas response on your dispute order number: 400387412009 mentioned that After they checked, They had to reject your return. The item returned did not meet the return conditions detailed in the returns policy. As the merchant has fulfilled their obligations and provided sufficient proof to show the item was delivered, and your complaint regards QUALITY/RETURN, we are unable to assist further.Notice the has fulfilled their obligations, and provide sufficient proof part?! Did they send Clear Pay the alleged smell?!! My reply was,Hi, thanks for a total and utter waste of time, and I really believed that common sense would prevail, that you could help me, and see how terrible Adidas UKs customer service really is. But no, you have effectively validated the responses from Adidas UK, that my item was in their words, smelly! You say they have provided you with supporting evidence which is that my item was returned to me as smelly?! The quality of the item was never an issue and arrived originally to me in perfect condition, and was returned to Adidas UK in the same condition as it was too small. I requested an exchange solely because it did not fit me, not because of its quality. Adidas UK sent my item back too me in the same condition telling me I did not meet the returns conditions, even though the item is still as it was. Given that you deal with a merchant that clearly is corrupt, should you not have asked for proof that the item was indeed smelly? But how is that done? Did they send you evidence of the smell?! And how does a customer contest this? They cannot and Adidas UK know this! The item is not, and never was smelly and the great number of customer services agents from Adidas UK I dealt with all with conflicting statements, evidence of which I provided to you, could not back up their claims?! But how can someone prove an item is not smelly from a distance?! Read the Trust pilot reviews from likewise customers and you can see exactly how corrupt and incompetent they are!You have allowed Adidas UK to take my money for an item of no use to me, and done absolutely nothing! Unfortunately there is now nothing more I can do and have been left accused of returning smelly items! Once my payments to those crooks have finished I will no longer be using Clear pay, and whilst I accept you are purely a medium between the customer and the merchant, in this case you have been shown to support a merchant that is quite clearly defrauding your customer/s! Do not contact me again please.HJ Brannigan.I will not now be using Adidas UK or Clear Pay based on this horrible experience. Beware dealing with either as one defrauds, and lies to customers, the other allows them to!! I shall now have to put this down to a bad experience and move on sadly.
