Adidas charged me an extra fee to expedite shipping, which apparently doesn't exist

Adidas charged me an extra fee to guarantee the shoes I ordered for Christmas would arrive by December 13. It is now Dec 20, and the last tracking info shows the shoes in ON on December 13. I called Adidas support, and they were supremely unhelpful, telling me that expedited shipping is a glitch on their site (!), which they don't actually offer. Customer support told me I should be patient, as it is Christmas, and there could be delays with shipping! If there is a known glitch, why not put a disclaimer on their website? And funny they are telling me to be patient when I ordered these December 11, and no one seems to know where they are or when they will be arriving? Hugely regretting not ordering these from Browns or Sport Check. Would not recommend ordering from Adidas if you want your purchase to arrive anytime soon. Also, isn't Purolator owned by Canada Post? Not expecting to see these anytime soon....
