One star is rather too good for my…

One star is rather too good for my order that came from the well- known Blackwells. The 2 books were dumped by a courier on a grass verge outside a neighbour's house about 150m away in pouring rain. The packaging was inadequate to cope with this treatment. Needless to say one book was ruined and the other I worked hard to salvage. Blackwells have been very slow to respond and then having asked for photos of the damage, told me to send the books back. But why should I pay the postage and why cant they accept the evidence of the photos they asked me to send? Heard nothing at all since I queried this. (Not even where to send the books nor any official label) I wont be using abe books again nor Blackwells. I await the next instalment, if indeed there is one at all
