Your program, Step Into Paradise questions gender bias. What it does not address, as with nearly all your arts programs is class bias. Wealthy middle and upper middle class Australian artists hold sway over your arts programming, as they do in the gallery system, adding nothing to the realities of lower class, struggling artists whose lives are often ones of suffering and desperation.I have grown allergic to the arty types who dominate the ABC and would sincerely like to see more actual realities explored.
