Review of Bing
Bing has gone too far with its AI pushing schemes. Ever since a little app called Chat GPT came to the world, many of us started using it. Then Microsoft had the genius idea of cashing in on this AI trend. Nobody asked for this!I rarely use Bing. The only time I ever used it is when I confused it with another search engine, but that was a long time ago. Whenever I do search anything up though, I have the option to "remove" a search term by clicking on the remove button on the home screen. When I click it, IT DOESN'T WORK! Why even have a "remove" button if your rigged search engine doesn't know the difference between plain text and links?Like Google, Bing tracks you and gives you ads unrelated to your search, along with results based on your previous searches. This is why I stay away from these search engines.And you can't get rid of whatever you searched for without digging deep into the Bing settings. Simply clicking that off the search history in your standard search history isn't going to help at all. That means you have to go all the way to Bing settings to do so, which is a pain.To summarize this, Bing is not the search engine to use for all these reasons. For the AI gimmick, I'm not falling for it. It will eventually become obsolete one day.

Despite being a Level 8 Local Guide Google is shadowbanning some of my reviews. Most frustratingly it is shadowbanning my review of a local Boots which changed its hours 2 years ago - I cannot update the hours and the photo of the door showing the new hours is shadowbanned. The review is entirely factual, adheres to the T&C and is simply providing accurate information about a business local to me. Why shadowban that?The only conclusion is that Google's algorithms are simply just very poor. It doesn't bode well for the future when you've got poor algorithms basing their answers on incorrect information and humans providing accurate facts are being censored.

On Thursday, May 1, 2025 I opened up a new Facebook account. On the same day shortly after opening this account, I was notified by Facebook that my account has been suspended for violating Community Guidelines by making my profile not searchable. Facebook also said I have one chance to appeal and if my appeal is not accepted, I would be banned for my lifetime.I made the appeal, but their was no place to add comments, ask questions, or raise any defense. On the same day Facebook permanently banned me from their platform. When setting up my Facebook account I used their setting to make certain aspect of my account private.I believe Facebook banned me without proper cause and should be investigated for fraudulent business practices.

Discord is perfect, if you don't do illegal stuff and your in general a good person you'd never get banned. I've actually been able to say a crap ton of things on this website. When you get nitro its a big gamechanger (or you can just brag to people about it) and I've never had any problems with payments, I recently cancelled it and nothing bad happened. So if you don't use discord you should.
