I often found it difficult to avoid content that is illegal in the UK.I joined a discussion forum about the news. Someone said that the UK should become a theocracy. I said that was against our basic principles. A user responded that I should go back to "the_donald". I do not know what that is so asked politely what they were referring to.I hit respond but it wouldn't send. I found out I was banned with no reason given. I saw that I could reply and asked why. I was told that I was an islamophobic scumbag. After that I left the site.I don't think it's a real discussion forum. It appears to be some kind of prank or troll site.

A few major issues i have reported multiple ads tgat when you click on them it pops up either to a porn site or flashes a message your pc is infected with a virus. i know better than to click on anything in that window however my mom got scammed. so far 7 reports all of them i got messages back that rhey don't violate community standards. i do have a video i wish trust pilot allowed you to upload them

Shopify destroyed my online business. Out of nowhere they decided to freeze my fund balance as a merchant who runs ads and fulfills orders, I could do neither and huge investment in my ad account to find winning targeting and tests went to waste. They asked for proof of address first and identity, I provided a US passport and a bank statement and told them I was visiting abroad but permanently residing in US. The risk agent asked for another proof of ID and suggested my “resident card” implying I’m actually a non-US national AFTER providing him a passport. My name is Mohammad so I suspect that played in too. Furthermore after submitting further documents, including tax return, lease agreement, invoices, tracking codes, all of which they decided to ask for after the simple passport check, there’s no answer on when my funds will be unfrozen so I can even fulfill orders. Let alone the damage I’ve suffered from ads being stopped and wasted. Do NOT use Shopify - their advertising to be a supportive easy to start platform is a lie.

This business is definitely a scam. I paid £59.01 for a water flosser and the money was taken from my account but no goods delivered. When I emailed for information they eventually replied to say that they have no record of my order. I am now informing my bank that I have been scammed BEWARE everyone.

They deleted all my correspondence including e-mails and pictures of my friend who died recently. This was done without warning. When I went for help I used live chat. The online assistant directed me to a phone number. The phone number had an auto assistant who hung up on me. When I dialled a 2nd time I went through to the wrong department - when I was finally directed to the right department who told me they could not help me recover my data. This is worst company ever with no consideration.

My contact form has been open since APRIL and nothing has been done about it! Instagram is STILL blocking my website and Linktree. I was told my Linktree that it was fixed on Oct 13 but it’s NOT. The customer service bombards me with emails from all sorts of people who just send me the same information over and over. Nothing has ever been successfully accomplished. My portfolio website is still flagged. I am a small business, I can’t be without this feature.

I wanted to change the name of the passenger on my ticket and so I reached out to the help chat on Delta's website. EJ helped me after I was forwarded to them through the chat bot and the interaction was super streamlined and easy. I filled out a short form with the name change and then it was done, just like that! No fee, no waiting days, absolutely amazing. For United Airlines, to do the same thing, I talked with an agent for 30 minutes for them to tell me to request a refund that I may not even be qualified for and then buy another ticket. So, I am very satisfied with Delta's customer service and system.

I booked two hotel rooms for the Olympics in Paris in a hurry. Without realising it, they had jacked up their prices fourfold. When I realised I contacted Hotels.com to explain I had been ripped off. They did absolutely nothing apart from sending me pathetic apologetic messages, which I suspect were auto-generated. They clearly only gave a damn about protecting their revenue, despite me evidencing that what had happened was unlawful. The bottom line is that they are based in the USA, they don’t give a damn about consumers, and you can’t touch them. If you use them and there is a problem they won’t help and you can do nothing as they are across the Atlantic Ocean, with no UK office. Buyer beware. I have made the decision to never use them again, along with Expedia or Vrbo (part of the same group), and take every opportunity to tell anyone I get the chance how terrible their business is. I wish I had looked at Trustpilot before using them. Horrible business. Genuinely horrible.
