Review of facebook
Facebook used to be a place to keep up to date with my community of friends and relatives, to learn about events, happenings and occurrences...Unfortunately, Facebook is now a place of adverts, suggested groups, suggested friends, suggestions galore, and more adverts, with maybe 1 in 100 posts being that of a friend or relative, adverts in the notification area, adverts in messenger, adverts on videos that I never ever see because I'm watching the video...! The thing is, so many people I know now don't use Facebook because of the adverts, the suggestions and the lack of visibility of friends & family. Then there are the hackers, the hijackers, the ones that spend seconds so incredibly easily stealing people's accounts, but the owners of the accounts then find it almost impossible to get them back...! I've not known one person that has had there account stolen get it back, not one. The fact that I know several people that have even had their accounts stolen is disgusting...! Why Facebook...? Why do you enable, allow and make it so incredibly easy for the hackers & hijackers to steal people's accounts, but then impossible for the owners to get them back...? Yeh, you have links and pages that are supposed to help, but they don't work...! Once the account has been stolen the hackers & hijackers change everything...!!!Facebook is broken and it breaks a little more as time goes by, people are leaving and Facebook is failing. It's like a bucket of water with thousands of holes, all covered with sticking plasters, over varying amounts of time, each plaster fails and a little more water leaves the bucket, another way to deliver an advert, another account stolen, another suggestion or another member lost = a further sticking plaster lost & another hole exposed, all until the bucket is empty...Can it be repaired...? No, I don't think so, unfortunately.Bye bye Facebook.

Review of wpengine
We were looking for a new provider and asked for initial call. We've been offered a month trial, after which we decided WPEngine can't give us what we needed, so we kindly asked to cancel trial. We've been offered another month of trial and multiple emails and calls even after we said we want to cancel. Also we never installed the website on the server or used their services and now I received few months worth of billing for over $3k.
Review of wetransfer
As a long-term user of the paid version of WeTransfer, I was totally shocked when my subscription went from €9.76 to €18.70 without notification.I have checked my mailbox in case I missed it, but I can confirm that no notification was received. It was only when I went to download the invoice for my accounts that I discovered what I believe is a deliberate deception.Like others, I believe that this increase without notification is tantamount to theft.I have requested a refund of the additional amount and will amend the review if I receive it.
Review of uniqlo
Ordered some clothes that were never sent out for some unknown reason. They said they were blocked? whatever that means. I was told I would be refunded within 5 days. I was lied to, and the refund wasn't processed. Customer service just doesn't seem to exist for this company. Don't respond to messages, their email doesn't work. Avoid
Review of uniqlo
Oh dear! We've ordered a few times through Uniqlo and actually found it to be as expected. However, this time our order from late November has apparently been passed to Hermes for delivery but, according to the Hermes site, is at the national sorting hub, but is "Missing pre-advice". No way to check with Hermes and have given up waiting three times on the Uniqlo contact line after more than 30 mins and no response. Tried emailing and even responding to the survey in unflattering terms - all to no avail. I really need to get in touch, but reading through the other reviews, I'm not holding out much hope! :-(

Review of bitly
I've used bitly for a while, casually creating links and QR codes for various needs. Recently, they changed their model, to offer paid subscription tiers. Ok, fine - people gotta make $, I get it.Without being a paid member, visitors to your links / QR codes will see a crappy-looking, confusing website before being redirected to your actual site. It's totally a turn-off to visitors and makes you seem questionable, and your links seem spammy. This was not the agreement I made with them initially and they gave customers very little advance notice of these changes. I believe they should only be putting these terrible "ad" pages on any NEW links / QR codes - but, they are adding them to ALL shortened links / QR codes made with the service, at any time. Feels very "bait & switchy" to me.In addition, their least expensive plan (advertised as $10/month) is ONLY available if you pay for the WHOLE YEAR at once. There is no monthly plan for less than $29/month (plus applicable sales tax and will renew automatically). $10/month is ridiculous for this "service", especially when they also have the ability to collect you and your visitors' data on the back end and use that however they wish (which I'm guessing they've been doing all along). Many non-profits, community organizations, and small web designers have been using bitly occasionally over the years and it's terrible that bitly seems to now want to extort $120+ UPFRONT, per YEAR from these users, based on PREVIOUS use of their service. If you are considering bitly for the first time, I'd recommend avoiding this company with questionable business practices and terrible treatment of their customers. If you have been using bitly and are now deciding next steps, take my review into consideration. I may have to begrudgingly pay (which I'm guessing they're banking on), but I will also gladly join any class-action lawsuit that addresses these issues.
Review of alltrails
All Trails allow anyone to upload a route and some of them are really dangerous. Many people ask them to take them down in the reviews, and yet they leave them there. People are risking their lives on some of these so called mountain ridge 'hikes', we were lucky to survive one today at Pas de les Cabres
Review of yelp
I’m a new business owner and I made the horrible mistake of signing up for Yelp. They (falsely) advertise a 900 dollar advertisement credit for my business, but then proceeded to charge me for ads. Within 1 week they charged me 200 dollars without notifying me, with a litany of weird little fees and hidden costs. IF YOU ARE A BUSINESS OWNER, DO NOT USE YELP!!!

Review of teachable
As a loyal user of Teachable for over four years, it pains me to write this negative review. My recent experience has been disheartening, to say the least. Despite my long-term commitment to the platform, my request for a reasonable adjustment to my subscription was flatly rejected.Teachable's pricing structure feels more like a money trap than a value proposition. I invested $468 in an annual subscription, only to realize that the monthly plan would have been more financially sensible for my usage pattern. When I approached Teachable for a fair adjustment, considering I was barely a month into the subscription, they refused to accommodate my request. This inflexibility is a major drawback, especially for a platform that's already quite expensive. It's clear that Teachable prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction and loyalty. Moreover, many features that should be standard are locked behind higher payment plans, limiting what you can do without shelling out more money. In summary, while Teachable offers some useful tools for online teaching, the cost, lack of flexibility, and limited features without additional payment make it a less desirable choice. I'm disheartened by their approach to customer service and would caution potential users to consider these factors before committing to their platform.

Review of leparisien
