Review of asus
I bought a N55 notebook 4 years ago for about 1100 euros. Excellent performance, good display, good sound, low noise, crappy wireless though. Signal was weak and lost frequently even when distance was 3 meters from router. Couldnt boot at some point after 2.5 years, sent to service department, fixed. Suddenly, in the past weeks it totally stopped working for no reason. All the time it was on my desk, no humidity issues in the house, nothing spilled on it. A machine I gave a delicate treatment all the time as it was my most valuable tool of working. Sent again to department: motherboard damaged. They asked 300+ euros to replace, could be much more and honestly I am too concerned about the possibility it will be more, as it will be the duration to fix it as well as the case it won't be worth the repair. ASUS is that really the lifespan of a laptop of this class? 4 years?
Review of apple
I am writing this review to express my profound dissatisfaction with the Apple Maps application, which has consistently failed to meet my expectations and, frankly, has caused me significant frustration and inconvenience. As a loyal Apple customer, I have always appreciated the quality and innovation that your products and services typically embody. However, my recent experiences with Apple Maps have left me feeling disillusioned and exasperated.Over the past few months, I have encountered numerous issues with the app that have not only hindered my ability to navigate effectively but have also resulted in considerable time wasted and unnecessary stress. The inaccuracies in the directions provided by Apple Maps are alarming. On several occasions, I have been directed to routes that are not only longer but also more complicated than necessary. This has led to confusion and, at times, has put me in precarious situations, particularly when navigating unfamiliar areas. One particularly frustrating incident occurred during a recent trip where I was relying on Apple Maps to guide me to an important meeting. The app directed me to a location that was completely incorrect, resulting in me arriving late and missing a crucial opportunity. This is not just a minor inconvenience; it reflects a significant flaw in the reliability of a service that users, including myself, expect to function seamlessly. The repercussions of such errors extend beyond mere frustration; they can impact professional relationships and personal commitments. Moreover, I have noticed that the app often fails to account for real-time traffic conditions, leading to further delays. In an age where technology can provide instantaneous updates, it is unacceptable for a navigation app to lag behind in this regard. I have found myself stuck in traffic, all the while wondering why the app did not suggest an alternative route that would have saved me time and frustration.I have also experienced issues with the app's user interface, which can be unintuitive and cumbersome. The lack of clarity in the visual directions often leaves me second-guessing my route, which is not only distracting but also dangerous when trying to follow directions. The overall user experience feels disjointed and does not align with the high standards I have come to expect from Apple products. As a company that prides itself on innovation and customer satisfaction, I urge you to take these concerns seriously. It is imperative that Apple Maps undergoes a thorough review and enhancement to address these critical issues. I believe that investing in improving the accuracy of directions, real-time traffic updates, and the overall user interface will not only benefit current users but also attract new ones who may be hesitant to rely on the app due to its current shortcomings. In conclusion, I hope my feedback is taken into consideration as you continue to develop and refine Apple Maps. I genuinely want to see this application succeed, as it has the potential to be a valuable tool for millions of users. However, without significant improvements, I fear that many, including myself, will be compelled to seek alternative navigation solutions

Review of vrbo
They do not verify any properties and allow the properties to post pictures that are not true and do not help the customer retrieve their refund. They were no help after I booked a hotel that show clean pictures. When I arrived the beds looked slept in, tub filled with water, toilet was burnt, hallways smelled of weed/cigarette smoke. Hot tub was out of order, including the pool. I was told I was past cancelation. Nobody said it was ran down motel with men and women running in and out that were not there for vacation (if you know what I mean). Never go through vrbo. They just collect money and have no clue if the property even exist. They say thanks for bring it to their attention on this review but that is not what they said when I spoke to them through email and phone. Still has not resolved the issue.

Access to their support team is non-existent. Have a issue with your sitter? Good luck. Need to cancel a payment? Too bad. They deleted their support email address, have no phone number listed anywhere, and have a non-functioning "Contact Us" button in their Help Center. It's a joke of scam. Avoid giving this company any money.

Review of kobo
Boycott Kobo:I purchased a Kobo Clara eReader specifically because it advertised seamless integration with OverDrive and public libraries, including the Toronto Public Library. However, I quickly discovered this integration is extremely misleading.Even after successfully connecting my library card and OverDrive account, many borrowed books do not sync to the Kobo device unless the exact edition (ISBN) also exists in the Kobo store. That means even free, public domain titles like Macbeth are blocked from syncing — not because of technical limits, but because Kobo doesn’t carry that version in their storefront. There is no warning or transparency about this policy. Instead of making public library borrowing simple, Kobo imposes confusing and restrictive conditions that: • Prioritize sales over access • Force users into Kobo’s store ecosystem • Create unnecessary frustration for library usersTo read my library book, I had to abandon the “integration” entirely and manually sideload it via Adobe Digital Editions — a cumbersome and outdated method.Kobo is misrepresenting its support for libraries, and the experience is hostile to users who rely on public services. This is especially frustrating for books that are free and public domain. It’s clear the system is designed more to protect Kobo’s retail interests than to support open access to books.Kobo needs to be more transparent about this limitation — or, better yet, stop using ISBN matching to block valid library loans from syncing.

Review of careerbuilder
I receive a lot of recruiter emails that are basically spam. However, once in a while I ask them where they got my information, because I don’t have my info available anywhere right now.Well, today I got one of those emails and just happened to ask where they got my information. The recruiter responded and said they got my information from CareerBuilder.com. This sounded odd to me because I didn't recall ever using that website, but I knew it was a big name brand. I double checked all my records and emails, and sure enough, I had never used CareerBuilder.com and did not have a username or password.Since they are a big-name brand, I decided to navigate to their website and try the password reset function and sure enough, it worked. Alarmingly, there it was, plain as day, a CareerBuilder account with all of my employment history and a lot of personal details. Clearly, all the information had been scraped from other sources because there were a lot of errors and gaps in the data. Let me be clear, I did not create this account and the data was clearly scraped. This is particularly alarming because not only was CareerBuilder unethically creating an account on my behalf, scraping my employment history, and selling my data to third parties, but they were also misrepresenting me in the marketplace. They took it upon themselves to take this disheveled amalgamation of scraped data, call it a "resume", and share it with potential employers and recruiters. What CareerBuilder did is clearly fraud. They created an account without my consent and effectively impersonated me in the marketplace. This was scary and appalling.I have reported this to the FTC and the CCPA. If they did this to you, or something similar, also report it to the FTC or CCPA. If this isn’t illegal, it should be.
