Review of hotels

Hotels.com don’t care!

For years I’ve always used hotels.com because of their loyalty scheme, however it seems i was more loyal than them. Because my upcoming break was 3 weeks outside the 12 month deadline I lost 9 rewards nights. I did contact customer services to ask for an extension of 3 weeks but I was told no. Loyalty works both ways so I’ll be deleting my hotels.com app and using booking.com in future …their prices are usually more competitive anyway.

Terrible customer service I have used…

Terrible customer service I have used Garmin for years and been a loyal customer. So much that I purchased a new one as a gift in the recent sale for someone however Garmin accepted my order and I had an email saying the order would take 3 working days. 12 days later they have said that their was a pricing error on the watch and offered me a 20% on any other watch. Rubbish I raised a complaint and if they don’t respond I a tempted seriously to never purchase a Garmin again.

Review of freshbooks

Unsafe at any speed

Even for a so called simple accounting tool Freshbooks is missing reliable features (like bank connections that don't break). Worse is the violation of basic accounting principles. Instead of letting you enter expenses that get reconciled with bank information (if you can get that connection working) they automatically CREATE expenses that look exactly like the bank transactions. So all you are doing is matching a copy to an original. Crazy. It looks slicked but it's not fit for purpose. Plus there are weird glitches here and there. Seems to be a platform developed ages ago and never updated. Quickbooks I'm coming back, all is forgiven.

I’ve been using EBay for over 30 years. I’ve just sold an item for £68.. eBay took nearly £11!! And I’ve still got to pay for the shipping(which is my choice.) This is the last time I will be using eBay, to buy or sell.GOOD BYE EBay….HELLO Vinted/Depop.Also I’ve noticed EBay do not reply to reviews on Trustpilot.For most sellers, eBay releases funds for delivered items into their eBay balance 2 business days after the delivery is confirmed via tracking information. If you're a new or returning seller, or if your item is high value or involves unusual selling patterns, there might be a payment hold for up to 21 to 30 days. For untracked items, funds are typically available 14 days after the order date.

Don't use in the Austin area if you only speak english. Because of language and cultural issues drivers will text and call you and have no idea what you are saying and they'll stand by your door even if your order was "to leave at the door"

I have been with WF since 1999 and just discovered that they are charging me $150 a year for the account, I was outraged and called. I am still on the phone waiting to talk with someone 20 minutes later. Service is horrible

I simply have a free account, and every time I try to see the source of some statistics I get told to login or register for a free account, despite being logged in. I’ll log in again and it leads me nowhere. If I can’t even look at the information that’s supposed to be free, that certainly doesn’t motivate me to pay for a subscription so that I can be refused information that I pay for next. This company needs to fix their website before Statista becomes another economic statistic.

I had been with Lastpass for many years, and enjoyed the service. However, the recent and what appears to be avoidable security issues, have left me with no other choice but to use another company. The latter was a real pain as I had to go through the joys of changing a large number of passwords to ensure that my accounts and login credentials were kept safe.Goodbye Lastpass, it was great when you cared.

Klarna - Shame On You.

Never received my goods, so I called Klarna more than 3 times. On my call on 2nd June I was told I would receive my refund on the 19th June 2025, still haven't received it. Homesdirect365 weeks ago (before I ordered my item) went into Administration and I told Klarna this the day I found out about it (28th May 2025) and even today 23/6/2025 Homesdirect365 is still listed on Klarna! Let me tell you I was informed today by Klarna customer services that Klarna themselves do not refund you the money, it would be Homesdirect365 who are in Administration, so you won't ever get your money back. Something very fishy!Klarna should not allow a company that are in Administration to still be listed on their website. Goodness knows how many people Klarna knowingly and obviously quite happily allowed them to lose their hard earned money....knowing what they knew!I plan to go to the press with my story, as this doesn't sit right with me, and I don't want others losing money. I will be getting the recorded phone calls I made from Klarna, to back up my true story.I have today contacted my bankers and they have blocked Klarna.So not another penny will these Pirates get from me.Good riddance!

they will brutally fire you out of the blue

Worked really hard for this company, back to back shifts and tried my hardest to hit targets. They fired me out of the blue, no warning, and they were so brutal about it. I don’t recommend working for them because they will fire you for things you can’t control and don’t even give you a chance to improve or train you on how to improve. They’ll fire you and leave you with nothing.

False Advertising

This company advertises the downloads for premium users as unlimited on their pricing page. In the small print you will find there is in fact a limit:- you can only download 100 per day as a premium user. This should have been made clear on the page which encourages you to sign up. Aside from this, the service is pretty good.

DON’T BUY PREMIUM!!!

I have been being harassed by LinkedIn to join their premium service FOR YEARS. While job hunting, I agreed and signed up. I got no additional worthwhile benefits and when I went to cancel, they make it a hassle, not letting you cancel from your mobile phone, forcing you to cancel through the Apple Store. They got my $40 and I got nothing. Don’t fall for their scam.
