Review of booking
When I arrived to pick up the car, the rental location was already closed because my luggage had been lost. The next morning, when I went to collect the car, I had an unpleasant surprise: the car was blocked because I hadn’t picked it up on the original reservation date, even though I had already paid for it.The rental company employee informed me that the car was still available and that she would be happy to release it as soon as Booking.com unlocked the reservation in the system. When I contacted Booking.com by phone, the representative told me it would not be possible to unlock the car and that I would need to cancel the reservation.I explained to her that if I canceled, I would no longer be able to get the same car at the price I had paid, since the reservation had been made months in advance. She then assured me that there was no problem — that Booking.com would refund the full amount of the original reservation, as well as cover the price difference for the new one. She said she couldn't unlock the car in the system, even though it had already been paid for, but insisted this was the best solution.Trusting her word, I followed all the instructions she gave me: I sent an email with the numbers of both the original and new reservations, explaining the situation in detail. However, I later received an email response stating that they would not honor what had been promised. As a result, I had to pay a significantly higher price for a new reservation, even though it wasn’t my fault that their system couldn’t unlock something that had already been paid for and charged to my card. The only refund I was told I would receive was for the car rental itself — the taxes I had paid would not be reimbursed. In the end, not only did I not receive a full refund, I also had to pay for a much more expensive new booking. The only reason I chose to use Booking.com was because I believed it was a serious and trustworthy company that would provide support if something went wrong. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all.

It all started on Feb 11, 2018 when I couldn't access my website for a few hours, when it seemed like it was overloaded or something, and after contacting my hosting, they didn't find anything, and suddenly the website started working again, as if it was under a DoS attack. And although the pattern of the abuse was very clear : making a "HEAD" request every 5 minutes, 24h/7 for more than 3 months now, this is how they reply :"Thank you for your abuse report. We were unable to identify the customer responsible for the reported activity."Seriously ? and after insisting again, sending them recent logs with IPs as well, this is how they replied :"Hello,Thank you for submitting your abuse report. We have begun our investigation into the source of the activity or content you reported. We've determined that an Amazon EC2 instance was running at the IP address you provided in your abuse report. We have reached out to our customer to determine the nature and cause of this activity or content in your report.[...]We will notify you once this case has been marked resolved. Thank you for alerting us to this issue.Regards,AWS Abuse Team"and I quote this from their own "AWS Acceptable Use Policy" in https:// aws.amazon.com /aup/"No Network AbuseYou may not make network connections to any users, hosts, or networks unless you have permission to communicate with them. Prohibited activities include: Monitoring or Crawling of a System that impairs or disrupts the System being monitored or crawled. Denial of Service (DoS). Inundating a target with communications requests so the target either cannot respond to legitimate traffic or responds so slowly that it becomes ineffective. Intentional Interference. Interfering with the proper functioning of any System, including any deliberate attempt to overload a system by mail bombing, news bombing, broadcast attacks, or flooding techniques." etcDespite all my emails, the abusive activity did not stop (even as we speak), so I had to block ALL their filthy IPs on my website, and you can get a list here :https ://ip-ranges.amazonaws.com /ip-ranges.jsonand if you want to report an abuse (good luck with that !), use this form : https ://aws.amazon.com /forms/report-abuseor by email : ec2-abuse[at]amazon.comI think they should change their name to Amazon Wicked Services instead !----------------------------Abuse Report [51305988128]Abuse Report [52332002560]Abuse Report [53330529735]Abuse Report [57551134201]

used these guys for minor domain services and they are useless. The interface is so complex it's hard to follow. Then the inevitable happened. I decided to cancel the AWS service but it was impossible. I logged out and then when i attempted to login later it refused to authenticate my root level credentials and has been that way ever since. Support said they cannot help unless I login to discuss. They are disinterested in assisting further. I have now been forced to deauthorize their charges at the bank. Poor.

Review of domestika
Total scammed by Domestika. Only bought a 1,99€ course, they include on the invoice ‘camouflaged’ a free trial and if you don’t cancel (I never asked for it at the first place!) you get automatically charged as they have your debit card. Had to cancel my card, made a denounce and contact consumer service, dead end. Feel cheated, scammed and shame on this company. I want my money back!! Thiefs!!!
Review of BBC
I believe its bad so many give 1 star reviews yet pay a bbc licence fee... money speaks louder than words them who refused to pay have a voice them who pay and moan about it do not... The licence fee is a rip off and a con for repeats on t.v... The only thing that changes is the day to day news... The licence fee go towards paying soaps like Eastenders and Gary linkers wages... look at everyone who has appeared on bbc as all millionaires and are paid a fortune for repeats and bies news... Their isn't anything worth watching or paying for would rather watch YouTube that pay a TV licence that's how bad TV got point proven stop paying a licence and if everyone stops paying we have a voice to stand out and make a difference 😉
Review of agoda
I looked for a hotel with private bathroom, and parking available in amsterdam. It displayed a hotel that turned out to be sleeping in shoeboxes, no private bathrooms no parking. After 35 pictures in the hotel description I finally found a picture of the shoebox. That is clearly deceiving. Customer service doesn't exist. Run.

Review of typeform
Typeform allows form for survey or fun reason to be easy and fast to fill.Creating the form and moving question is really quick and smooth with drag & drop. The fact that one can disclosure questions one at the time keeps the user focused on one question at the time, and makes fast to answer even to longer survey. Not to mention how nice it feels from mobile too! :)

Have the free version and it’s really nagware. They reduced the number of devices (apparently to force a purchase of premium)Then they keep nagging and trying to scare you into upgrading (you are ALMOST out of space, your files MAY not backup!!!!!!!), even when you are not that close to full. If the price were more appropriate, I’d likely upgrade, but it isn’t, so my paid cloud storage is OneDrive and iCloud, along with a photo cloud service. The free tier does work, aside from the limited devices and only giving 2GB as standard, but you could (and maybe still can) earn more, so I have 10GB. So, maybe it’s worth it, but expect to be nagged to death :-(

this company refuses to unban you if you happen to go against the terms of service, [without intentionally knowing what you've did wrong.] ~ and blame it all on you. for there's nothing you can do about it.they refuse to grant you your right to review back.this must be a violation of the first amendment.

Review of avast
Avast ist very slow and resource consuming AV. Not very good for cleaning adWare. The safe pay mode is good, safe browser is quite good too. It would be fine if Avast would stop spamming its customer with pop up commercials disguised as "safety recommendations".
