It's honestly comical how terrible this site has gotten. Since Elon took over, they keep introducing just extremely unpopular changes, then reverting them. Unfortunately, the one thing they don't seem to be reverting is the whole "Twitter Blue" nonsense. They are removing the "verified" checkmark from actual verified accounts and only using it for people who have paid for a subscription. So they're still calling it verified, but it's explicitly not for verified people. I will block anybody I see with the checkmark once they remove it from actual verified users, I don't want to see those clowns on my timeline. I really hope one of the alternatives gets big so I can leave this hellsite.Oh, and the site got extremely buggy a few months ago. I wonder if that had anything to do with firing all the engineers? Either way, you never know which feature will be broken when you pull up Twitter. Sometimes you can't search. Sometimes images won't load. Sometimes you just can't tweet. It's super fun.
